Andrea Navedo

Andrea Navedo is an American actress and published author. Her acting career by appearing in soap operas One Life to Live & Guiding Light, and later played a variety of supporting roles in primetime television. Andrea Navedo was born 10 October 1977 in The Bronx New York United States. Navedo's acting career started in soap operas. Navedo was in the ABC soap show One Life to Live as Linda Soto from 1995 to 1997. Then in 1999 she joined the cast of the CBS soap opera Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. She made her film debut by playing a minor role in Girl 6 (1996) then appeared in the episodes New York Undercover and The District. In 2001 Navedo appeared in the action comedy Double Take. Double Take and the following year was the drama Washington Heights. Navedo was the character the role of Detective Ana Cordova in the NBC show Law & Order from 2001 until 2004. Then, he was a part of Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages along with Blue Bloods. Navedo has also appeared in movies like El Cantante, Remember Me as well as a variety of other films. Navedo had recurring roles in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, How to Make It in America Golden Boy and How to Make It in America Golden Boy between 2011 and 2013. Superfast!, a comedy movie in which she starred. which was a parody of The Fast and the Furious film series, which was released in 2015. Navedo's professional journey began in daytime soaps. Between 1995 and 1997, she portrayed the character Linda Soto in the ABC soap opera One Life to Live. She was cast in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. In 1996 she made her acting debut in film with a role in Girl 6. She later played a role as a guest in New York Undercover (1996) as well as The District. Navedo appeared in Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001.
